Job Description

Being an eCommerce Account Manager at Channel Bakers means you’re the catalyst for our clients to discover and leverage our knowledge and execution on Amazon, eBay, Newegg, Jet and other eCommerce marketplaces. You’ll communicate with clients on weekly calls, lead and manage a passionate team and develop strategies to build business for Channel Bakers and for our clients. As a Marketplace Account Manager, you will work with your team and clients to maintain inventory levels and strategies that will help their companies succeed. As a member of the leadership team, you will coach and develop the Marketplace team as well as educate other personnel about our unique business services. You will drive eCommerce marketing initiatives including email campaigns and marketplace activity, ensuring the maintenance of product listings and marketing strategies on eCommerce marketplaces and build strategy to generate additional traffic and rank through product placement, optimized images, keywords and SEO.

  • This job operates in an office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment
  • The employee Is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, uses hand to handle, or feel objects, or tools, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear
  • The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to analyze data into actionable insights to increase client’s sales and improve strategy
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and leadership
  • Ability to read, analyze, write and interpret business reports for internal/external use

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing experience in eCommerce platforms (i.e Amazon Vendor and Seller Central, AMS, eBay, Walmart, Newegg) with a track-record of delivering results
  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast – paced environment
  • An exceptional prioritizer. Never missing a deadline while managing multiple, competing priorities
  • Comfortable working effectively in a deadline – driven work environment
  • Flexible with schedule to meet the needs of clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

What you’ll be doing on a daily basis

  • Managing marketplace performance on Amazon, Newegg, eBay, and other 3rd party marketplace businesses
  • Analyzing, driving and reporting on customer feedback to improve business reputation
  • Creating product descriptions and keyword developments in multiple marketplaces
  • Managing eCommerce promotional calendars to drive growth
  • Writing, creating and publishing successful online product listings that include images, shipping details and item specification on Amazon, eBay, Walmart and other marketplaces
  • Managing existing listings and making necessary corrections to ensure product accuracy
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on issues affecting Inventory levels
  • Be proactive and accountable for demand forecasting and inventory in-stock performance

Position Details

  • Classification: Exempt
  • Reports to: Director of Strategic Accounts
  • Travel Required: Occasional day travel, overnight travel is 10%
