The Programmatic Specialist is responsible for the strategy and successful execution of our clients programmatic advertising campaigns. They will use their in-depth knowledge of programmatic to educate our team and clients, secure client budgets, and execute client/company deliverables. They will manage campaign setup and execution across various platforms including the Amazon Advertising Platform, Google Ads (Display), Criteo and more.

The Programmatic Specialist will need to understand the technical underpinnings of automated buying, audience buying and DSP’s in order to provide total portfolio insights for all brands within the organization.They will develop, lead and execute quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that translates data into actionable insights. They will execute, report and communicate internally and externally on campaign progress, creative ideas and key performance drivers.

The ideal candidate will have prior campaign management experience within Amazon,Google and Criteo, with strong analytical and communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. They will have a background in Ad Tech, Ad Operations and Ad Sales, and an in-depth knowledge of DSP/DMP capabilities

Required skills and experience

  • Relevant of 2 + years industry experience
  • In-depth knowledge of DSP/DMP capabilities/platforms, programmatic execution, attribution models, and associated technologies
  • Familiarity with advanced optimization strategies to deliver against KPI’s including CPM goals, ROAS, CTR
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to communicate in a meaningful way to de-mystify programmatic jargon for clients and agency counterparts
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving, innovation, numerical detail and analysis
  • Open to mentorship and development

  • Communicate (verbal & written) to internal/external clients on programmatic campaign progress

Job duties and responsibilities

    • Create and manage our client’s programmatic advertising campaigns that will drive traffic, awareness and sales to our client’s products
      • Manage CPM and CPA campaigns and budgets that boost the visibility of client websites and publications across digital networks
      • Manage and optimize digital campaigns executed in a programmatic ecosystem
      • Execute keyword research to achieve our main drivers
    • Drive business within the programmatic landscape by supporting other Account Executives within the Advertising department
      • Develop, grow, and maintain relationships through creating an exceptional client experience
      • Recommend and develop processes that lead to efficiencies in campaign management and reporting
    • Communicate progress with internal and external clients
      • Build media plans, including selecting tactics appropriate to each campaign and ensure client goals are being achieved
    • Understand and analyze traffic data, demographic information and usage statistics to strengthen marketing messages
      • Generate reports and present detail analysis of results to management and clients, including analysis on bids, audience segments, geo, demo targets, creative etc
  • Advises higher management of key programmatic trends, client insights, campaign next steps and growth opportunities

This candidate will participate in campaign planning meetings to support key organizational initiatives via programmatic and will serve as programmatic ambassador, monitoring industry trends, and providing training and best practices to drive adoption. The candidate must have an innate curiosity about how to apply technology, a desire to be indispensable and an unquenchable thirst to learn and apply what you know
